PROPERTY INSIGHT

Ensum Brown are delighted to offer for sale this well-presented 4-bedroom detached family home in a cul-de-sac location in Bassingbourn. This property offers excellent potential to update, extend (STPP) and add further value, with no upward chain, a large kitchen, 2 reception rooms, a cloakroom WC, 4 well-proportioned bedrooms, a family bathroom with a 4-piece suite, an enclosed garden, a garage and a driveway.

This well-presented detached property enjoys good kerb appeal, with a pleasant and tidy frontage, plenty of space for potted plants, side access to the rear, and a large driveway with ample parking for multiple vehicles. Upon stepping inside, the entrance hallway is spacious and welcoming, with wood flooring, pendant lighting, room for furniture, and doors to the downstairs living space, including a cloakroom WC.

The lounge is incredibly large, benefiting from wood flooring, neutral decor, pendant lighting, a floor-to-ceiling window to a front aspect, and ample space for a wide range of lounge and storage furniture. The dining room is equally spacious and bright, with a glorious garden aspect, wood floors, spot lighting, stairs to the first floor, double sliding doors onto the garden terrace, and space for a large dining setting and storage furniture.

The kitchen is a very good size, benefiting from a window and door to a rear and side aspect respectively, tiled flooring, a wide range of base and wall units, wood-effect worktops, inset lighting, an integrated oven and hob, and space for a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and other small kitchen appliances.

Upstairs to the first floor, this lovely detached home continues to offer generous accommodation, with 4 well-proportioned bedrooms, integrated storage and wardrobes, and a family bathroom comprising a bath, a shower, a WC, a heated towel rail and a hand wash basin.

Outside, to the rear, the garden is a very good size, fully enclosed by fencing and brick walls and offering a lovely and relatively private space to sit and relax on warmer days. The garden is laid mainly to paved patio and decking, with some lawn, providing space for garden furniture and enjoying meals al fresco. There are borders of plants and shrubs, and plenty of scope for future owners to put their own stamp on things.
