LOCATION - PUCKERIDGE
Puckeridge is a village in the parish of Standon, located just off the A10 in East Hertfordshire and 27 miles north of London. Unlike many villages there are a lot of amenities, including a village post office and convenience store, doctors, pharmacy and mobile library service. Within the village you have two pub restaurants, the Crown & Falcon and the White Hart, just up the road in Standon you have the China Garden restaurant.
With regards to schooling you have Roger de Clare Church of England first school and nursery, St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School and Ralph Sadleir School. You also have a number of schools in nearby Ware, including private education.
Their is a real sense of community in the village and groups for all ages, many taking place at the community centre.
