An absolutely charming period country cottage that simply oozes character throughout the deceptively spacious accommodation. There are exposed timbers and brickwork together with an impressive fireplace with wood burning stove in the living room. Set back behind a small green on this country lane that cottage enjoys good size front and rear gardens with fabulous views over countryside to the rear.
As soon as you walk in through the front door the character this home offers is immediately evident. The dining room is a really attractive room and comfortably takes a good size table. There is a red brick fireplace (not open) with exposed timbers and a very deep storage cupboard to one side. The lounge is particularly impressive and enjoys a large red brick fireplace with wood burning stove, exposed timbers and open Oak studwork between the lounge and the kitchen. The kitchen is cleverly fitted with a bespoke range of base units incorporating worksurface, one & half bowl sink unit and large drawers. Tiled splash backs. Integrated five ring gas hob with cooker hood above. Integrated electric double oven with grill. Integrated washing machine, fridge and freezer. Ceramic floor tiles. Exposed beams. Adjoining the kitchen is a door into the garden room/conservatory. A lovely addition with brick floor and windows and door opening onto the garden.
At the rear of the house, off the dining room, is a rear hallway off which is a well fitted downstairs shower room.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and an en suite bathroom. The layout upstairs does mean that the bedrooms are interconnecting and one has to pass through one to get into the other.
Undoubtedly a real feature of the cottage are the beautiful gardens. The front garden is a really good size, approximately 60' x 30' and laid to lawn with lovely flower beds and enclosing hedge. The rear garden is a delight. It's about 40' x 30' and backs onto the fields behind the house. The garden has been attractively landscaped with paved and decked areas, a pergola and useful shed.
